I have not in a long time come across a line of natural bath and body products that I can really get behind and support 100% until I was informed about the products of Shea Essentials. Born out of addiction….made out of love…
 
The idea to make our bath and body products stemmed from an addiction.  Ayieta, the founder of Shea Essentials has always been addicted to different fragrances, but a lot of commercial bath and body products were irritating to her sensitive skin.  So she decided to learn the art of making her own bath and body products.
 
To our surprise, the first batch of soaps sold in one day with orders for more and the first jars of whipped shea butter cloud were snatched up quickly by friends and family. 

As demand grew, Ayieta joined forces with LaLordi who pushed for expansion, researched and marketed, spreading the word, putting Shea Essentials on the map.  That was over two years ago…
 
Shea Essentials continues to operate with one simple goal: to provide our customers the best in natural, handmade bath and body products made with only the finest, natural ingredients in an amazing array of fragrances.
 
Why Shea?  Shea butter has been used for centuries in Africa to aide in the protection, healing and rejuvenation of skin and hair. Its natural UV protection and moisturizing properties makes shea butter an excellent barrier against the elements. Light, and non-comedogenic (does not clog pores), it can be used on all skin types to help bring skin back into proper moisture balance, resulting in a healthy, glowing appearance.
 
Our formulations use natural ingredients including unrefined shea butter, mango butter, jojoba oils, vegetable glycerin, and other nourishing oils and herbs.  We use organics whenever feasible and none of our products contain petroleum-based ingredients like mineral oil, unnatural colors, preservatives or fillers.  Our entire product line is now 100% vegan.
 
Not only do we make these products, we love them!  Each of our products is tested first on ourselves and if it isn’t good enough for us, then we’ll never offer it to you.  What makes Shea Essentials different is that we are dedicated to making things better ~ your skin, our society and our environment.  These intentions, wellness, happiness & prosperity are mixed in with each handmade batch of products we prepare.
